ShareASale is an affiliate marketing network that connects merchants with affiliate marketers. The ShareASale platform makes it easy for you (the ambassador) to create tracking links that can then be added to your influencer channels. Clicks, conversion rate, sales, and commissions are easily accessible in your account, and ShareASale facilitates the payment of commissions to affiliate marketers.

How do I earn money with ShareASale?

Affiliate marketing is a method of earning money by recommending and promoting somebody else's products or services. Suppose you're accepted into the John Frieda program as a publisher. In that case, you'd post a link to our product(s) on your website. A customer lands on your website and clicks the link you posted, taking them to the John Frieda website. That customer makes a purchase, and then you earn a percentage of the sale as a commission (15%).

Is there criteria I need to be approved on ShareaSale?

We're looking for affiliates who love our brand and can show us in their application blurb! One criterion required to be approved by our affiliate program is United States residency, as this website solely sells John Frieda US products. Reasons for application rejections include not being a good match for our program, your website having inappropriate or adult content, suspicious activity, copied content, or violations of the John Frieda or ShareASale agreement.

How long will it take to review my application?

Once you apply, ShareaSale will email the address you chose. Follow the instructions in that email, and once you have completed that, ShareaSale will review your application within the next 5-7 business days. You will be notified again via email when your application has been approved.

How can I track commissions and payouts?

ShareASale tracks your promotional efforts and sends you one combined monthly payment based on which transactions earned you commissions. ShareASale provides easy-to-read reporting that displays how much you can expect to be paid based on your monthly performance.

HOW DO I SIGN UP WITH MY SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT?

You can become an affiliate with your social media website to promote us. In step 2 of the application, add your social media page link (under website URL), and in step 4 of the application, use the Program Description field to add a description of your channel (like beauty-related products).

ONCE I'M APPROVED, HOW DO I GET LINKS?

Easy! Just go to Links > Get a Link/Banner. Click "Get Links" under the John Frieda program, and this will bring you to the page with all of the creatives we've provided. On this page, you have the option to grab HTML for the creative or a simple, raw link. To use the HTML, click “Get HTML Code,” then click “Select All.” Now you have code ready to place on an HTML-friendly portion of your website. To use a raw link, click “Select URL Only” and this link is ready to use in an email, on social media, etc.!
