Blue shampoo contains crushed blue pigments to counteract brassiness in brunette hair. Using blue shampoo and conditioner helps you achieve a cooler, brighter brunette to improve the look and feel of your hair in between colorings.

When is it best to introduce blue shampoo to your hair routine?

Even if you don’t see it, color-treated and highlighted/toned hair begins to lose the toning pigments applied during the salon visit from the first wash. Will this stain my hair blue?

John Frieda Blue Crush Blue shampoo can enhance already-lightened hair color by adding cool tones and neutralizing brassiness. This product does not lift or lighten the hair. The results are tonal only; however, the hair may appear cooler, brighter, or lighter by counteracting the warm brassy tones. The color result is temporary. The shampoo does not lighten the hair permanently.
